Basic Vinyasa. This traditional vinyasa class features a flowing rhythm, beginning with several rounds of modified sun salutations, and an emphasis on connecting movement with breath. This class may include upper body work, core strength cultivation, and arm balances, in addition to standard standing, seated, and reclined poses. This class is suitable for beginners who do not have major movement limitations.
Vinyasa. This traditional vinyasa class features a flowing rhythm, beginning with rounds of sun salutations, and an emphasis on connecting movement with breath. The class includes upper body work, core cultivation, and sometimes arm balances, in addition to occasionally challenging and fast-paced sun salutations. This class is suitable for more experienced students who are familiar with the standard poses and sequences.
Slow Flow. This slower-paced class features a flowing rhythm, beginning with modified sun salutations, and an emphasis on connecting movement and breath. The sequences in this class include instruction in the standard standing, seated, and reclined poses, but minimal upper body work or core cultivation, making it suitable for beginners and those students desiring a class with gentle movement.
Yin/Yang. This class begins with several long- hold poses, often supported by props, followed by standard standing, seated, and reclined poses. There is a minimal amount of upper body work and no work with arm balances, which makes it suitable for beginners and those students desiring a class with gentle movement.
